We offer local Mum-to-Mum breastfeeding and parenting support through group meetings and information sessions that are attended by trained breastfeeding counsellors and educators.

VIEW is a National network and valued member of The Smith Family. Ballarat Evening View members support education of children by sponsoring 10 Children with Smith Family scholarships. VIEW provides women with the opportunity to promote the Voice, Interests, Education of Women. We welcome women of all ages and backgrounds.

Joining fee is $20 but people are welcome to come along to meetings prior to joining.

Activities

We have an active social life with a Monthly dinner meeting, some with guest speakers. We have morning teas, a walking group, dine-outs, visits to shows, cinema and special events. Our major fundraising activity is gift wrapping for Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas. Stockland Shopping Centre have been very supportive, and allow us to use their space.

Operating Hours

Monthly Dinner Meeting 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6.30 for 7pm start. Other activity times are as required.

Ballarat Pink Phoenix began due to a need for a support group for women and their families over the age of 40 who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Our group is made up of and led my members who have had breast cancer themselves.
Monthly meetings are organised to encourage newly diagnosed women to realise that they are not alone in their battle with this dreaded disease, a place where they can relax and share with others who understand what they are going through.

Women's Health Grampians provides information, support and access to services and health practitioners, to assist woman in making informed decisions about their health. This service is confidential.
